In  8th, pp. 388. Text in two columns. Coeval cloth binding, title and friezes in gold and embossed on the spine. The work is preceded by the "Life of Angelo Di Costanzo" written by Gio. Specialist Notes

Work I: Second edition significantly revised, enlarged and accompanied by documents of this important work, published in refutation of that of Colletta, on the political events in the Kingdom of Naples from the Jacobin-Masonic Conspiracy of 1794 to the death of Ferdinand I. How to reads in a request he presented to Ferdinand II in January 1850 to obtain permission for publication, after reading Colletta's work, he was "so irritated by it that he conceived the idea of refuting it". He began his work in 1845 and completed it at the end of 1847, publishing it the following year, partially anonymous and without the documentary part on the eve of the revolutionary events with the title "History of the Kingdom of Naples from 1794 to 1808" .
