Printer's brand on the title page and at the end of the volume, woodcut illustrated drop caps, Latin and Greek characters, small faults at the top corners and at the end at the outer margins, light stains, back binding in half brown leather, in the author's compartments and title embossed in gold.

Rare edition of the philologist and humanist. He edited the editions of numerous ancient texts and dealt with various subjects, from ' agriculture to science, from rhetoric to moral philosophy, and searched Florentine and Italian libraries for texts to compare the codes. His main interest remained, throughout his life, the study of ancient texts and especially Greek texts.
