In 4°, 299, (2cc), coeval full leather binding signed Weill with double border and gold friezes on the plates, gold frieze on the inside plates, Paulucci de' Calboli coat of arms on the front plate, gilt title on spine with place and date also in gilt, friezes and ribs, edges in gilt. Illustrated by MM.Besnard,Flameng, Albert Laurens, Léandre, Adrien Moreau, Thévenoy, engravings by Romagnol. Inside, autographed pencil drawing by Charles Léandre (1901), autographed letter with enclosed envelope addressed to the publisher Auguste Magnier by Edmond Rostand dated Paris 6 February 1999. Romagnol's handwritten dedication to Marquis Paulucci de' Calboli. Some traces of humidity. Edition with double suite of illustrations.
