Specialist Notes
Reproduction of the evangelistary made between 980 and 993 in the Scriptorium of the Abbey of Reichenau, commissioned by the archbishop of Trier Egbert. It is the oldest illustrated representation of the life of Christ and consists of 165 sheets of parchment with 60 miniatures, seven of which were made by the miniaturist known as Master of the Registrum Gregorii.
