Zacco within an engraved copper oval, small gaps on the title page, scattered blushing, on p. 261 missing external white corner, 16th century binding XIX in half parchment, smooth spine red leather inserts with author and title embossed in gold.
Rare original edition of this poetic text in Sicilian dialect, produced by some members of the Accademia degli Etnei in Catania, and dedicated to the patron Vincenzo Paterno' Castello VI prince of Biscari, and son of the founder of the Academy itself, the naturalist Ignazio V. The composition contained in the first part is a Cicalata held during the carnival of 1789. The second is a collection of "poems" by the Academicians. Mira I, p. 510.
