Specialist Notes
Beautiful copy, with dedication by the author, of the first edition of this interesting work dedicated to wine. It is divided into two parts, the first of which contains a Dithyramb dedicated to wine and love, the second the author's annotations to the composition, verse by verse. Numerous wines are mentioned, among which Montepulciano stands out, which "of every wine is king", but also other drinks (for example chocolate and candiero), uses, customs and idioms.
