Specialist Notes

Contemporary edition to the Roman edition by Marcello Silber, extremely rare (see A. Tinto, The annals of Eucario and Marcello Silber, 97), attributed by Isaac (n.13771) to Giustiniano da Rubiera. The date is taken from the datum on the last card: Bologna 9 October 1510. Rubiera was a typographer and bookseller active in Bologna between 1502 and 1534, son of Leonardo and brother of Baldassarre. In 1502 he enrolled in the Guild of doctors and apothecaries of Florence.
