Watercolored title page with a view of Trieste from Opicina, portrait of the Archduke Stephen, dedicatory table to the Archduke Stephen, preface in two languages (Italian / German), a large view of Trieste of 320 x 610 mm. always in watercolored, 41 city views and watercolored costumes accompanied by explanatory texts, 2 sheets of text - always bilingual - with "Historical Notes of the Coast", a large map at the end: "Map of the Austrian Littoral", 380 x 480 mm. Splendid complete copy, FINELY ACQUARELLATA , of the most famous Trieste illustrated of the 19th century: a monument to the Trieste coast, to its artistic and naturalistic beauties, but also a vivid fresco of life and customs of populations. Tischbein was a refined painter of landscapes, architecture and scenes, all elements finely reproduced in this series of lithographs. He was the only one of his family to move permanently to Italy; & nbsp; from 1838 until his death in 1867 he lived in Trieste, at the time a splendid cultural and artistic center under Austrian rule. & Nbsp;
