Exemplary in beards, woodcut vignette on the title page, dedication to the Marquis Gherardo Rangone, 1 large panel folded several times engraved by Francesco Rosaspina depicting the shells from which the purple is obtained, woodworm work in the inner margin of a few cards, some slight halo, tear with small loss at K1, coeval binding in marbled cardboard, manuscript author and title on the spine, defects. Paper bookplate on the title page.
