Specialist Notes

Giovanni Macchia writes in a letter dated 10 December 1963: "... the pleasure it gave me to leaf through, to leaf through the pages of your notes and drawings, to enter the coulisses of the great theater of your fantasy, where forms germinate, grow, multiply with extraordinary violence. I was able to convince myself that the matter of Brittany is the one that best suits your imagination, the realisme irréel of referred to by Cocteau in his enchanting preface letter ... ". & nbsp; The letter refers to the publication of the volume on the Chevalier de la Table Ronde and attests how Clerici was in those years at the center of the attention of literary critics, art critics, scholars of various backgrounds etc. All this is testified by the multiform team of which the present archival collection is composed, the names speak for themselves.
