Venice, by Giambattista Pasquali, 1747. In 8 °. Engraved front door, 5 chalcographic plates numbered at the end, brand on the title page, browning and marginal blooms, marginal hole on the last panel, lack of the back plate, coeval binding in full rigid parchment, smooth gusset on the spine with author and title in gold.
First Italian edition of the treatise on the electricity of bodies, Essai sur l`electricité des corps published in Paris in 1746, by the French physicist Jean-Antoine Nollet, a pioneer in experimental physics studies focused on electrical phenomena.
