Naples, Donati Campi, 1770. In 4th. Frieze on the title page, xylographic initials, with 3 sheets of plates, one of which folded reproducing a Greek inscription discovered in Naples in the Monastery of Santa Maria Egiziaca in 1764, the other two depict ancient Italic coins, several slightly burnished cards, slight halos on the first and last cards, rare blooms, coeval parchment binding with title imprinted in gold within the spine, some slight halo.

Specialist Notes

First and only edition of this research on sporting activities practiced in the Vesuvian territory in antiquity. Among these, the Ignarra & nbsp; (1728-1807), a scholar of ancient history and a priest, pays particular attention to bullfighting.
