Specialist Notes
Giasóne del Màino & nbsp; (Pesaro 1435 - Pavia 1519) he taught at the University of Pavia, receiving great appreciation and honors, he attended the & nbsp; court of writers and artists of Ludovico Sforza and in particular & nbsp; the friend Matteo Bandello, who appealed & nbsp; il Maino "my honored tutor" & nbsp; and "great monarch of the laws". He was one of the most distinguished representatives of the school of commentator or post-glossing jurists, whose characteristic procedure he adopted. The exegetical part of his works is valuable; his commentaries on Corpus iuris civilis aroused considerable interest and widespread resonance.
