Front door engraved in copper, 3 full page and 1 folded copper engraved plates, woodcut frieze on the title page, woodcut initials and end pieces, woodworm work on the lower inner margin from the first card at B2 that affects the lower corner of the engraving at the door, slightly burnished cards, a few cards with small spots, half leather binding of the century XIX with title and author imprinted in gold on the back with 5 nerves, slight peeling on the back, slight defects on the plates.
First edition translated into French of this interesting posthumous work on Indian religions by the Danish missionary Abraham Roger, who lived in Pazhaverkadu, India, from 1631 to 1641.
