Bimonthly magazine directed by Alberto Moravia and Alberto Carocci. 17 vols. First series: Rome, Carocci, 1953-1958. New series: Milan, Garzanti, 1972-73. In 8°, editorial paperback. First series nos. 3-6, 10, 17-25, 27, 32. New series nos. 25, 26, 28, 31. Quarterly magazine founded in 1953 by Alberto Moravia and Alberto Carocci in which, among others, Jean-Paul Sartre, Elio Vittorini, Italo Calvino, Eugenio Montale, Franco Fortini, Palmiro Togliatti wrote. In 1966 a new series began directed by Moravia, Carocci and Pasolini (the latter directed it from 1966 to 1975, the year of his death). In the second series Attilio Bertolucci and Enzo Siciliano were then added. A third series will be published starting in 1982 with Moravia, Siciliano and Sciascia as directors.
