Specialist Notes

Work Published by Sanfelice (1515-1570), and not by his great-grandson Antonio Sanfelice, bishop of Nardo. However, it was published by the latter's younger brother, Ferdinando Sanfelice (1675-1748), a famous architect. The first edition was published in Latin in 1562 (De Origine et situ Campaniae).
