An over-and under-barreled miquelet percussion gun by Bernardino Dauria, Second quarter of the 19th Century

Smoothbore, two-stage, 10 mm cal. barrels, octagonal at the first part and then round, marked at the base with the mark of the Royal Factory of Naples (clearly visible only in the lower barrel) under two gold-inlaid lilies and the name "Cianciulli"; iron tang engraved with floral motifs; finely engraved and carved miquelet locks, signed "Bernar. Dauria" on the left side and "Bernardino Dauria" on the right side, restored left cock. Wooden butt sculpted with a dragon's head and floral motifs in high-and bas-relief. Fine, richly engraved, brass mounts. Pierced, engraved, brass barrel brackets, the one towards the nozzle with front sight. Iron side ramrod. In patina. Small damage and missing parts.
