Cylindrical, iron head, provided with seven flanges with a border slightly cusped at the centre and lobed at the edges. The sides of the flanges decorated with pierced rosette and engraved outlines. At the top a small, spheroid button on a base shaped as a truncated cone. Hollow, iron shaft shaped as a truncated cone (almost cylindrical) in the upper segment and of octagonal section in the lower one, decorated with a twisted-worked ring at the girdle and with cap at the bottom, also twisted and button-shaped. Opening to insert a lace. Of good quality. A 16th-century original item or a fine 19th century copy?
