length 141 cm.
Long, smoothbore, two-stage, 16 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part with two gold-inlaid marks at the base (one not clearly legible "...L.s bis", the other with a cross) under lilies and cross, silver broad rear sight, then round after rings and acanthus leaves, swallowtailed gold foresight between four lilies; engraved tang; lock with rounded lock plate, the tang carved with a grotesque face in bas-relief, engraved floral motifs in the centre, carved springs, cock and pan engraved with floral motifs, the screws covered with medallions featuring busts. Inside signed 'Il Matassa da Anghiari'. Partially sculpted briarwood half stock, the wooden trigger guard with engraved bronze hilt, sculpted at the ends with a bust with plumed helmet and bearded face in bas-relief, grooved butt in the centre. Flat bronze mounts engraved with floral motifs. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
