Octagonal, rifled, blued, 16 mm cal barrel, bell-mouthed toward the nozzle, signed "JOHANN CASPAR RUDOLPH" in gold, with a bust and gold filigree decorations at the base, gilded adjustable fore-end decorated with leaves, iron sight; lock with flat plate, almost entirely covered with a magnificent engraving depicting a hunting scene with three deers, standing men and men on horses with their hounds, guided by the sovereign; the cover of the spring with a hound-dog, the hammer with a wide plate depicting hunters in the woods; the plate before the pan (the sliding pan cover is missing) signed "C. RUDOLPH in CREMBS"; wooden full stock (repaired cracks) sculpted with curls and branches; brass mounts, beautiful counter-plate richly pierced with a relieved wild boar and a hunting scene, flat butt-plate engraved with animals and arabesques; rifled patchbox, thumb support, peep sight and set trigger; replaced ramrod.
