Original comic art created by Crepax for the page 14 of "Barbablù", the adventure of the sensual Valentina published for the first time in the volume "Valentina nella stove" by Milano Libri Edizioni in 1973. In this story, which is to all intents and purposes the continuation of the previous "Baba Yaga", are condensed all the narrative and aesthetic peculiarities of Crepax's art: there is the dream world, the psychoanalytic one, the animals, the period objects, the magic and the rationalism that fights it but remains enchanted by it, there is the fairy tale and there is the complex relationship of Crepax himself and his Valentina with the feminist movement. Signed and dated.
