Original comic art made by Kubert for "The lonely knight", published on Texone n. 15 on page 152 by Bonelli in 2001. Since its release, Joe Kubert's Texone (on texts by Claudio Nizzi) was recognized as a real gem in Bonelli's series, both for Kubert's high artistic sensibility and for the characteristics of the story. Tex plays here the role of solitary avenger without the classic garnish of pards.«The suit I wanted to sew for Kubert involved a hard and concentrated Tex like in Sergio Leone's westerns or in those of Anthony Mann» (Nizzoli).
