Original cover made by Manara for "La Route de Macondo", the second volume of the "HP & Giuseppe Bergman" series published for the first time in France by Les Humanoides Associés in 2005. When Manara created the character of Giuseppe Bergman (his graphic double) between the '70s and '80s, his arrival was a real bolt from the blue in the panorama of comics of the time. With Bergman, philosophy, poetry and feelings are addressed with the rhythm, action and heroism of adventure stories. Because adventure is the central theme conveyed by this nomadic, extravagant and enterprising character. An adventure that leads the reader to discover the world, but that also unravels the thread of an authentic interior adventure. Signed.
