Famous especially for his visions of landscape, architecture and attention to the urban reality of his native Naples, Mimmo Jodice has also devoted himself with particular attention to the world of contemporary art, both by producing himself conceptual works and by documenting performances by prominent authors, as in this case the one in which Gianni Pisani provocatively destroyed his own coffin (from whose remains he would later make a cradle) in 1972 in the institutional spaces of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
