The first photographer to join the Magnum agency following Henri Cartier-Bresson's recommendation, Eve Arnold was a reporter of extraordinary strength, capable of capturing the emotional essence of life. A great friend of Marilyn Monroe, met in 1954, she was able to capture her fragility more than others, as in this portrait taken in 1961 on the set of John Huston's film "The Misfits".
