Literature

M. Abramović, Attraversare i muri, un’autobiografia, Bompiani, Milan, 2016, p. 105
In 1976 at the Venice Biennale the not-only-artistic duo constituted by Marina Abramović e Ulay (Frank Uwe Leysiepen) presents this first important performance. While running, they throw violently their own bodies full of masculine and feminine energy one towards the other in order to give birth to a third energized body, named "Quel sé". It is an example of their extreme acting, essential feature of Performing art, their intense employment of body, mutuated from the Body Art, and of their profound belief that "esthetic without ethic is just cosmetics", as Ulay said.
