La villa romana di Monte Mario risale agli anni del pontificato di Sisto IV e fu fatta costruire dal cancelliere perpetuo del Comune Mario Mellini. La villa, che comprendeva un ampio parco con viali alberati, ha subito diversi rifacimenti nel tempo, ma è documentata attraverso i ricordi di illustri ospiti, tra cui Wolfgang Goethe e Stendhal e diverse testimonianze figurative.Contact
