L'opera, probabilmente ridotta ai margini, presenta il medesimo soggetto di un prototipo conservato nelle Gallerie dell'Accademia a Venezia ed alternativamente attribuito a Pier Francesco Mola o, dal Longhi, a Mattia Preti, cui il dipinto è stato successivamente assegnato in via definitiva.Contact
