Specialist Notes
The Fiat 1100/103 was born in 1953, maintaining the 1089cc 4-cylinder engine of the 508, but mounted on a load-bearing chassis, with a 4-door sedan body. In October of the same year, a sportier version was presented: the 1100 TV (Turismo Veloce); with the engine increased first to 48 and then to 50 hp. Externally it was recognized by its two-tone paintwork and rich finishes. Our car, chassis no. 176281, assembled in the Fiat Carrozzerie Speciali department, was registered in Messina on 15 July 1955. In 2007 it was bought by the previous owner who began a complete restoration completed in 2013. It comes in a two-tone black and green configuration, with beige and green interiors. Both the bodywork and the interior are in impeccable condition. The mechanics have been upgraded with a 40 Weber carburetor, tappet cover and aluminum oil pan but the block is original. Since the restoration it has traveled approximately 2000 km. It retains its first plates and logbook and is FIVA and ASI Targa Oro certified. Suitable for regularity rand potentially Mille Miglia elegible.
