Smoothbore, round, 16 mm cal. barrel, with two brass-inlaid marks under crown (one Piedmontese with Savoy shield), silver swallowtailed foresight; flintlock with round lock plate bearing the signature "Rousset a Turin" in italics. Wooden, half stock, with elegant butt and iron mounts engraved with floral motifs. Complete with iron-tipped wooden ramrod and iron cartridge extractor. Small defects.
