A beautiful burgonet (probably of 1570-1600), with skull worked in one-piece, provided with high comb with twisted border, at the base a row of iron rivets; sloping and pointed brim ribbed at the center with roped and twisted border. Marks of hammering and a foliation inside. A probably earlier repairing inside the comb. Another earlier restoration inside, at the base of the skull. Movable cheekpieces provided with five groups of three air holes each. Edged margins. Ferrule worked en suite with the brim. Remains of old leather strings. Probably remains of marks on the right cheekpiece. Rounded breast-plate, 1530-1550 circa, ribbed at the center, with (probably later) engravings depicting bands of trophies and a large, crowned, double-headed eagle at the centre. Almost straight neckline, turned outwards and with a thick, twisted rope. Pauldron small-plates fastened with rivets and with ropes worked en sute. Four-plate backpiece engraved and provided with articulated, six-plate tassets with lower ropes worked en suite with the breast-plate. Smooth back-plate, with similar ropes. The gorget with spaudlers, two-plate neckline with twisted border on each side. The final plates of the shoulders with swallow-tailed edge and roped edge.
