Good early blade with 54 cm nagasa. Hamon: midare togari gunome; hada: very compact itame; horimono: HI (groove on both sides), copper habaki. Nakago mumei with two mekugi-ana. Beautiful high-ranking officer's koshirae, typical navy tsuba with seppa engraved with rays. Gunto mounts in gilded shakudo and decorated with floral motifs. Early 19th century shinshinto blade. Koshirae Showa.
