Polychrome embroidery on silk decorated with elements and thin gold metal bands depicting the heroic moment when St. George pierces the Dragon's head with his lance (a beautiful depiction of the lance, similar to those used in 15th and 16th century jousts). The figure is applied on a light-blue fabric background, under glass and within a beautiful, heavy stuccoed and gilded wooden frame (later).
