dating: 1886 provenance: Brescia, Rifled, octagonal, 11 mm cal. barrel, with foresight and 'IB' mark; grooved, six-shot cylinder; frame marked '.R 213' (the first letter is not legible, probably 'M'), 'REALE FABB. D'ARMI BRESCIA 1886' and marked 'RE' under crown; provided with side extractor and loading gate; checkered, wooden grip scales; grip with ring for the strap. Working mechanism. Rare. In 1874 Italy adopted a new centerfire revolver based on the French Chamelot Delvigne system; the supply of revolvers was mainly covered by Pirlot Fréres and by the production of the Italian firm Glisenti. See 'Pistole Militari Italiane' by L. Salvatici, pp. 109-120. The production of this model by the Royal Factory of Brescia is usually considered rarer. length 31 cm.
