dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Naples, Smoothbore, two-stage, 18 mm cal. barrel, first octagonal with Real Fabbrica of Naples marks gold-inlaid between fleurs-de-lis, after a ring and round acanthus leaves, with foresight; engraved tang; small miquelet lock, the drum shaped as a rifled ball; fruitwood full stock with grooved butt (the fore-end cap restored), brass mounts, pierced barrel brackets. Iron ramrod. length 116 cm.
