dating: 1802 provenance: Naples, Smoothbore, two-stage, 19 mm cal. barrel, the first part octagonal, the frame at the base with sight, with deep mark under three lilies, after carvings, ring and round acanthus leaves, with moulded muzzle and foresight; wide, finely engraved tang. Impressive and beautiful lock signed 'VINCENZO SARLI', decorated with fine carvings and engravings with floral motifs. Wooden full stock (very small restorations) with elegant floral decorations sculpted in bas-relief, grooved butt; fine brass mounts decorated with floral engravings, the counter-plate also pierced. Iron ramrod. length 118.5 cm.
