For Finarte, 2019 opened with a grandiose and exceptional success. The auction dedicated to a prestigious private collection of Hermès bags, which was held yesterday in the new in Via Paolo Sarpi 6, totalled over one million euros, with 100% of lots sold.
An extraordinary auction for Italy, an event that places our country on the same level as France, England and the United States: the room packed with collectors and enthusiasts, the many telephone calls and the large online participation confirmed the singularity of the sale, especially in a country like Italy. Indeed, the Hermès bags go beyond the concept of fashion.

The auction culminated with the tender for a splendid Birkin in fuchsia-colored Porosus crocodile (lot 43), awarded for 56,250 euros, but similar enthusiasm was also recorded for a wisteria-colored Biros in crocodile Porosus (lot 107) awarded for 45,000 euros; another Birkin, also in blue Niloticus crocodile (lot 29) was awarded for 41,250 euros, a Birkin in dark blue Porosus crocodile (lot 15) for 40,000 euros. Among the other models, we point out a black Kelly Retourne (lot 39) sold for 18,750 euros, a Birkin Club bag in taurillon leather clemence pearl-colored and white girigio (lot 34) awarded for 22,500 euros, a Birkin Candy bag in epson leather yellow gold (lot 44) 13,750 euros and finally a Kelly Retourne bag (lot 70) awarded for 14,375 euros.
From the exceptional selection of carré, the iconic silk accessory, the highest value registered at the auction was 600 euros.
